1. Service Description

MapCrush Websites builds professional websites for local businesses of any type. This includes complimentary Qualified Scholarship Builds for businesses approved into our scholarship program, and Custom Builds quoted directly for businesses that want a paid, made-to-order site. Optional ongoing hosting plans are available after your site is built.

2. Qualified Scholarship Builds

A Qualified Scholarship Build is a complimentary website build offered to businesses that have been approved into our scholarship program through prior conversation with MapCrush. There is no cost for the build itself, and no obligation to purchase hosting or any other MapCrush service.

3. Custom Builds

A Custom Build is a paid website build with pricing quoted directly by MapCrush based on scope and complexity. MapCrush is not obligated to begin build work or deliver a completed site until the agreed deposit (or full fee, per the invoice terms communicated by MapCrush) has been received.

4. The 7-Day Ownership Window

Once your site is built, the preview link is active for 7 calendar days from delivery. You must claim your site (by selecting a hosting plan, or confirming you will self-host/transfer it) within that window. If no action is taken within 7 days, the preview link and site are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

5. Site Ownership & Transfer

Once claimed, the website files belong to you. You are free to move or self-host the site elsewhere at zero cost and with no obligation to MapCrush. MapCrush provides no technical assistance with a self-managed transfer. If you would instead like MapCrush to personally perform the transfer to a new host or platform, MapCrush will invoice a separate one-time Transfer Fee to cover that work.

6. Hosting Plans & Billing

If you select a paid hosting plan after your build, hosting bills monthly and renews automatically. If a scheduled hosting payment fails or is declined, MapCrush will attempt to charge the payment method on file for up to 5 business days, after which hosting may be paused until payment is resolved. You may cancel hosting at any time effective at the end of the current billing cycle.

7. No Obligation

You are never required to purchase Google Business Profile optimization, review management, or any other MapCrush service as a condition of receiving or hosting your website.

8. No Guarantee of Results

A website is one part of your online presence. MapCrush does not guarantee specific traffic, leads, or revenue outcomes from your website alone.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on mapcrushwebsites.com — including text, graphics, logos, and methodology — is the intellectual property of MapCrush Websites. The underlying website platform, theme, and template code remain the property of MapCrush and its platform provider, licensed to you for use only while hosted with MapCrush.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapCrush shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website, including loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of data. Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid by you to MapCrush in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MapCrush Websites, its owner, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or any content you provide to us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
